5539 miles. About 192 gallons of gas. (Was averaging 28.9 miles per gallon.)
Once west of Indiana I don’t recall paying more than $2 a gallon for gas. There were a couple of times it was as low as $1.73. Washington was around $2.25. But, it’s Washington. People in Washington are as fucking loony as California where the gas prices is, oh, I don’t know, $87 a pint or something? I filled up today and it was the most expensive gas I’ve bought since I left.
There’s more snow here in Ohio than all twelve states I was in over the last 10 days — combined. Including Alaska.
I figured after a 5500+ mile trip the weasels wouldn’t go anywhere near a car for a month or so. All I had to do, though, is ask if they were ready to go for a ride:
